Jason's back! Yesterday I took my 16 year old nephew to see the new installation of the Friday the 13th franchise (he actually wanted me to take him). I was skeptically because I'm an old school horror flick fan and today's movies are nothing more than extreme gore and grossness wrapped into porn. There's nothing fun about them. But I was pleasantly surprised. The director held true to the old school genre. There was the traditional, obvious and sometimes new ways of hacking deserving teens to death. Granted there was way to much nudity and sex but unfortunately that is the only thing today's horror fans seem to like (or maybe I'm getting old). Anyways, it was a very good time and I would recommend a go at it.
